A Process Between Compression and Injection Moulding
In transfer moulding, prepared rubber compound is placed in a transfer chamber and forced under pressure into the closed mould cavity.
This provides more controlled mould filling and makes the process suitable for technical parts with complex geometries, inserts or finer details.

Material Preparation
The rubber compound is prepared and dosed according to part volume and process requirements.
Transfer Chamber Loading
The prepared material is placed into the transfer chamber of the mould.
Material Transfer
Pressure forces the compound through the runner system and into the closed mould cavities.
Filling & Vulcanisation
The cavities are filled under controlled conditions and the component vulcanises at defined temperature, pressure and time.
Demoulding & Finishing
The finished part is removed from the mould and, where required, passes through finishing operations.
Inspection
Dimensions, visual quality and applicable product characteristics are checked before supply.
